Team Objectives
The mission of RISE for 2004 is to build 25 fully functioning Schools in Bie, Angola, facilitate the repatriation of refugees, and introduce Bie as a location for mission teams from Willow Creek Community Church, Chicago and beyond.  To help achieve these goals a small team will travel to Nangweshi, Zambia, and Angola to assess the following issues:

1. Are Nanggweshi refugees prepared to return to return to Angola and participate in the construction of schools?
2. What is needed to help the refugees bridge this transitional phase of repatriation?
3. How can the refugees and RISE collaborate to rebuild an educational foundation within Angola?
4. Can RISE select an English speaking Executive Director, from among the refugees, to function in Angola?
5. In Bie, what progress has been made in the first five schools? What has worked; what needs change?
6. Are there effective project managers? What is needed in the way of training?
7. What are the locations for RISE Mission teams to work in Bie? Projects for teams?
