As a demonstration of this commitment, students at New Trier High School in Winnetka, IL have rallied to lend hands-on aid to Angolans both in their home country and in refugee camps in neighboring Zambia. An effort that began in 2001-2002 with the senior class collecting enough clothes, shoes, blankets and school supplies to fill a 20-foot container has grown to include the other grade levels as well. |
