A team of 12 traveled to Angola for three weeks, many for the first time. One of the goals of these trips is to step away from what is known and comfortable to a broader way of seeing the world, with a desire to offer hope, encouragement and partnership, working together in a small way to rebuild lives and communities. The team held workshops** for nearly 300 teachers, church and community leaders in three locations at Lobito, Balombo and Chilonda, visited RISE schools, and shared life with our Angolan friends and with one another.
