| Wells for Angola |

In partnership with Willow Creek Community Church's Celebration of Hope, funds were donated for wells at school sites in rural Angola. Ten have been completed, three of which were dedicated in April 2010 while our RISE Team was there. Children were delighted to touch, splash and drink clean water for the first time! In one of the villages, after only two months of use, there has been no more cholera or diarrhea, and women no longer spend hours every day making the 10km trek each way to the river. |
