Students from the Cicely Tyson School held a fundraiser during Spirit Week in May 2009. Through a campaign to support RISE Interational, they collected loose change (pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and dollars) during homeroom. All money raised is to be used for school supplies and to help build schools in Angola. Tyson students are Paying it Forward.
