In an effort to educate about the prevention of AIDS, RISE has partnered with Willow Creek Global Connections and Kerus Global Education, to bring the It Takes Courage! curriculum and training to teachers and leaders in Angola. Willow provided major funding for travel, training and ITC! materials, Kerus developed the ITC! curriculum and conducted training in Angola, and RISE provided funding, implementation and the in-country network. The Angolan Ministry of Education has allowed the curriculum to be incorporated in the moral education component of what is taught in the classroom. Trained participants have the privilege and responsibility of teaching what they have learned in their churches, villages and communities, and to the children--the future leaders.                                                 Overview of Training Curriculum
