A team of 16 began a three week journey to Angola on June 24th, many for the first time, and for others, a reconnection with a place and people they have come to know and love. Each one stepping away from what is known and comfortable, to a broader way of seeing the world, and a desire to offer hope, encouragement and partnership, working together in a small way to rebuild lives and communities. The team held workshops in two provinces, at Bocoio and Chilonda, participated in the building of schools, and shared life with Angolan friends and with one another.
