Musical Matinee Performance
to Benefit RISE International

Hersey High School held a benefit matinee performance of its Spring 2008 musical "Jesus Christ Superstar" with all proceeds to go to RISE to help fund a school in rural Angola. More than $12000 was raised!

JCSS performers, Carina Muir and Mollie King, were members of the Summer 2008 RISE Team that traveled to Angola. Carina and Mollie participated in building a school and conducting educational workshops for teachers and village leaders. They facilitated a workshop on the importance of educating and empowering girls.
