Bright Hope International Bright Hope has partnered with RISE to provide Hope Packs and Bibles to the children of Angola. Hope Packs are individual boxes filled with basic school supplies and a Bible that will be used by one child. Partner ministries participate by picking up an empty box, filling it and decorating it, creating a tangible way to bring hope and a future to a poor child. Willow Creek Community Church, Willow Creek North Shore, Moody Church, and other partner ministries decorated and filled 4260 Hope Packs. These packs, along with 75 boxes of Bibles provided by Bright Hope, made their way to Angola on a New Trier container shipped in May 2007. The 2008 Summer RISE Team distributed the Hope Packs to children in villages where RISE schools are being built. |
