Junior ROTC under Major Herman Sheppard at Prosser set a goal to raise $10,000 to build a school in Angola. With the help Michael Yauger, Chicago Teamsters Local 786 President, and other Teamsters Locals , their goal was reached. In celebration, an all-school assembly was held with distinguished guests Sec. of State, Jesse White, and Medal of Honor recipient, Sammy Davis, in attendance. Additional funds are being raised to send cadets and teachers to Angola to help build a school and present it to the community. |

"This is a lesson that will forever change the lives of these students," said Yauger. "I want to reward them for their effort, but also to fix in their minds the importance of being advocates for good and citizens of the world." |
