Hungry to learn new skills and techniques, over 100 Angolan teachers and leaders, along with representatives from the Ministry of Education, eagerly converged on the RISE School in the rural village of Chilonda to attend an exciting week of workshops offered by the team, which included five New Trier teachers. The need for teacher training is so great that school was cancelled for the week in the surrounding villages to allow their teachers to attend.
