"Textbooks for Angola"

Christian Heritage Academy in Northfield, IL celebrated its fifth annual Faith Run on Saturday, May 6, 2006. The Faith Run is a family event including a 1 K/3K fundraising run/walk for all CHA students, families and alumni.

This year, CHA donated 5% of their Faith Run proceeds to purchase books through RISE International for elementary schools in the rural highlands of Angola. $2500 will buy enough text books for one entire village school.

Each year T-shirts are printed for the participants. Some of these shirts have made their way on containers to Angola and are seen on these children at a celebration of the opening of a RISE school.
